District 6650 Youth Exchange will be taking a bus trip to New York City March 19th-21st. Contact Vicki if you would like to chaperone.
The Relay for Life will be held at Crestview High School July 9th-`10th
The Rotary Foundation has established a Haiti Relief Fund. CLICK HERE if you would like to make a contribution. Our Interact Club is raising funds to purchase a Shelter Box.
On May 15th our Club will sponsor a community clean-up day. We will rent dumpsters, which will be located in the church parking lot across from the police station. We will charge $5 for a carload and $10 for a truck, van or SUV.
We will be replacing the entrance sign on Taggart Street at the PA border. This time we will feature businesses rather than other civic organizations. Club members will be given the 1st option to advertise their businesses.
We will be sending 2 students to the RYLA Conference (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) on Feb. 19th-21st
On DOG Day we will continue to paint fire hydrants.
We will be holding a 'fireside chat' for all new members on Saturday, February 6th at the Library starting at 9:00 AM.
Bonnie has 6 more proposed new members: Tommy Povenski, Sue Venezia, Bill Strohecker, Roberta Fusetti, Jim Kachelries & Scott Dodge. Any objections must be submitted in writing to the secretary within 10 days of the date of this newsletter.
