90% of the pre-schoolers gave this answer.
"The bus is
traveling to the left."
When asked, "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the left?"
They answered:
"Because you can't
see the door to get on the bus."

District 6650 Youth Exchange will be taking a bus trip to New York City March 19th-21st. Contact Vicki if you would like to chaperone.
The Relay for Life will be held at Crestview High School July 9th-`10th
The Rotary Foundation has established a Haiti Relief Fund. CLICK HERE if you would like to make a contribution. Our Interact Club is raising funds to purchase a Shelter Box.
On May 15th our Club will sponsor a community clean-up day. We will rent dumpsters, which will be located in the church parking lot across from the police station. We will charge $5 for a carload and $10 for a truck, van or SUV.
We will be replacing the entrance sign on Taggart Street at the PA border. The sign in scheduled to be installed by the end of March. The cost to have your business included on the sign is only $100. If you would like a spot, please send an email to Brad with your business name & logo. The deadline is February 15th.
We will be sending 2 students to the RYLA Conference (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) on Feb. 19th-21st
On DOG Day we will continue to paint fire hydrants.
We will be holding a 'fireside chat' for all new members THIS SATURDAY at the Library starting at 9:00 AM.
The 4-way speech contest will be held on March 1st at the library.
We voted to accept an exchange student next year.
The District Conference will be held at Mountaineer Racetrack & Resort April 23rd-24th. We are the host club.
MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT: I cannot believe my term as President is half over. I looked forward to this Rotary year and I have not been disappointed. Our Rotary Club has grown and continues to grow. We have had successful fundraisers and have enjoyed many fellowship hours with Club members and members of the community. I am looking forward to the activities we have planned for the remainder of this Rotary Year which includes the District Conference, 4 Way Speech, Scrapbooking Day, Easter Egg Hunt, Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Covington House Project, Like Skills Project, Community Trash Day, Painting Fire Hydrants, Dog Days, Thank You Luncheon, District Spring Assembly, Memorial Day Bike Parade and our Summer Picnic.
