• Congratulations to everyone involved with the auction. Special thanks to Sondra, Micki, Connie, Shirley & Tom Prater. This year we made over $8,216. The auction was such a success we are even considering a summer auction as an additional fund-raiser.
• Board meeting – December 20^th at 11:30
• Our guest today was Fabi
• Jim won the drawing today, but also drew the joker
• The Christmas Dinner will be Tuesday the 14^th at Tippecanoe Country Club. Cocktails at 6:30 and Dinner at 7:00
• Next week will be the election of officers and directors for 2000-2001. If you’re not there you will undoubtedly be nominated and probably elected (this threat should ensure good attendance)
• High School Juniors will participate in a Career Day at Kent State-Salem on Friday, December 3^rd. The first session starts at noon. If you would like to participate contact Lisa.
• Career Day for EP Middle School students will be held on January 14^th.

Breast stroke competition....

There was a competition to cross the English Channel doing only the breast stroke. Just three women entered the race a brunette, a redhead, and a blonde. After approximately 14 hours, the brunette staggered up on the shore and was declared the fastest breaststroker. About 40 minutes later, the redhead crawled up on the shore and was declared the second place finisher. Nearly 48 hours after that, the blonde finally came ashore and promptly collapsed in front of the worried onlookers. When the reporters asked why it took her so long to complete the race, she replied, "I don't want to sound like I'm a sore loser, but I think those two other girls were using their arms."
