We started 2009 with Cliff as our President.

Dan Wilkovich re-joined the Club in January.

Cliff's Taxi Service took members of our Club to the Mid-Year Assembly in January.

Bill Gates announced at the Rotary meeting in San Diego, California, last week that he will increase his donation by $255 million, making a total of $555 million which RI needs to match by 6/30/2012.

Vick led a state-wide Rotary effort to fill a Rubbermaid containers with items for Fisher House guests.

The Fisher House is like a Ronald McDonald House for military families.

Amber Hill and Sam Herron, both juniors at EPHS, attended the RYLA program.

Bonnie attended PETS in Columbus.

The Easter Egg Hunt/Pancake Breakfast was held on Saturday April 11th.

Shirley, Traci, Bonnie, Kerri, Doug & Vicki attended the District Conference.  They hosted the House of Friendship; sold tickets for the afghan drawing & sold Rotary plates and trinket boxes.

Kerri hosted 2 Rotary Scrapbooking events.

We helped with the Trans Continental Military Convoy, which came to East Palestine on June 15th.

We hosted the Memorial Day Bike Parade.

We sold raffle tickets for the Atlantic City Trip at the Street Fair.

Endia organized the Rotary year-end picnic in June.

Cliff's reign ended, and Bonnie became president in July.

Doug became the 1st District Governor from East Palestine since 1969-1070.

We hosted movies in the Park in July.

We had a team in the Relay for Life at Crestview High School in July.

We sold necklaces and food at the July 4th celebration.

Doug made his official visit to the Club on July 20th.

Ben Sippel, former exchange student from Australia, made a return visit.

Vicki was surprised to learn that she had been named a Paul Harris Fellow.

We have approved 18 new members since July 1st.

The fall was busy with the Rotary Cross County meet; Rotary youth soccer, the Rotary Yard Sale and the Exchange Student overnighter.

We made a $1,400 profit from our Atlantic City fundraiser.

The Interact Club at EPHS has 44 members this year.

Diego was with us the first half of the year & Alejandro has been our exchange student this fall.

We worked the Car Cruise & hosted our Thank You Dinner.

Vicki took Sam Herron, Harley Houston & Amber Hill to the World Affairs Institute in Pittsburgh in November.

The Rotary Christmas Auction was a success again this year.

Sondra and Mary Ann organized the Christmas Party.

Many good meals and hours of fellowship all dedicated to making our community and our world a better place.
