Bob White was the big winner of the drawing.  He pulled the ace of hearts & won $107.00

Happy/Sad Bucks: Bob was $5 worth of happy for winning the drawing; Laura was happy for her engagement pictures & her new countertop; Roger was happy for his visit to Annapolis; Sandy is happy to have the yard sale behind us.

THE BOARD MEETS NEXT MONDAY AT 11:30

The Community Yard Sale was a success.  We had 18 vendors compared to 11 last year.

We have now confirmed that the Rotary Auction will take place at the Elementary School cafeteria.  We approved the purchase of yard signs for the auction

The 1st week of Youth Soccer games have been moved to Sunday afternoon on Sept. 30th.

It looks like the Interact Club will get started with 25 members.

The RI International Conference is June 15-18, 2008

District 6650 will collect 5,000 toothbrushes & toothpaste to send to Brazil in December

Dates to Remember: September 30th - 1st Youth Soccer games; October 19th - Tailgate with Columbiana;  December 11th - Rotary Christmas Party

Blonde in Starbucks....
 
A blonde buys a coffee in a Starbucks and notices there's a "peel and win" sticker on her coffee cup.

So she peels it off and starts screaming, "I've won a motor home! I've won a motor home!"

The waitress says, "That's impossible. The biggest prize is a free Lunch."

But the blonde keeps on screaming, "I've won a motor home! I've won a motor home!"

Finally, the manager comes over and says, "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but you're mistaken.
You couldn't have possibly won a motor home because we didn't have that as a prize.

The blonde says, "No, it's not a mistake. I've won a motor home!"

She hands the ticket to the manager
